Learning the Ropes 2021
“Learning The Ropes" is a practical skills CLE for new admittees to the Oregon State Bar and lawyers entering private practice in Oregon. The seminar was held Wednesday through Friday, November 17-19, 2021.
The CLE includes information on developing a successful practice and avoiding legal malpractice; practical tips from lawyers and judges; advice on setting up effective office systems; ethics tips; presentations by lawyers working in various practice settings and areas of law; mental health and substance use education; and segments that fulfill your Introductory Access to Justice MCLE requirement. Attendance at the full program will satisfy all of the MCLE requirements for new admittees’ first reporting period. The entire agenda is available here.
